All About Me and My Unique Personality: Zoe is a gorgeous 8 month old desexed female Aussie / Smithfield Kelpie cross. She’s a playful and boisterous girl with her two foster siblings but she’d perhaps be better as an only dog, as she gets a bit much sometimes with older dogs, showering them with sometimes unwanted affection. Most of the day however, she loves to cuddle up with them and sleep.

She’s happy to do her own thing, but will follow you from room to room if the mood catches her. She loves her toys and isn’t one to destroy them. She’s house trained and will let you know if she needs to go outside. She’s a quick learner having caught on to the workings and benefits of a doggy door very quickly.

She’s very affectionate and has been in a house with young children for the first few months of her life with no trouble, but she does get a bit excited so it might be best that if there are children, that they be over 12 years. She needs training which would benefit her and her new humans immensely.

She absolutely loves the beach, the doggie park and an afternoon walk. Her favourite thing though is hose play and loves nothing more than being drenched on a hot day. She learnt very quickly not to exit the house or the car without being invited and is pretty good at dropping the ball at your feet. She has the most beautiful and loving nature and loves to cuddle up of an evening once she’s settled down.

My Ideal Home: She really needs an owner who is patient with her morning and evening boisterous ways and one who’s prepared to put in the work to train and exercise her.

What is Known About My Background: Zoe is a regretful surrender. Zoe's previous owners parents tried to add a third dog to their household, but it's just too much for them.

How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: Zoe would be fine with children but due to her boisterous nature perhaps children over 12 years old would be best.
