About Lucky

All About Me and My Unique Personality: I am very cute but a definite boy! I enjoy a good play and can stray on the side of rough. My foster mum thinks I would suit a family with a playful dog I can wrestle with. I am very friendly once I get to know you and be rather cute when I'm in an affectionate mood. I can be shy around new humans though.

My Ideal Home: I would suit a family with a large house to run around in. I definitely need a sibling, either a playful dog or cat that can match my energy. I get along well with Hubba Bubba who is also up for adoption.

What is Known About My Background: I came from a local shelter.

How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: While I have not met a dog, my foster mum thinks a playful dog I can wrestle with would be an ideal fit for my personality. As I can be a bit rough, small children might not be ideal unless you have the time to train me. I get along with the other cats in care but would suit a younger cat as I think I think I would just annoy and older cat with my need for attention.

HAR uses the details in this form to select the most appropriate family for our animals. This form allows us to get to know you, your home, your family, lifestyle and level of experience with pets.
Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.
HAR Adoption Process
1. Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2. If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3. If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4. 4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.
Please understand that by filling in this form, it by no means guarantees that you will be successful in the adoption process, nor does it obligate you to adopt.
To complete this form an attachment must accompany this application regarding housing status. Either landlord approval to have an animal at the premises, or proof of home ownership.
