Jakey is a gentle and affectionate soul who is looking for a loving forever home. With his calm and easygoing nature, he gets along wonderfully with both humans and other cats. He never hisses or growls—only love and kindness come from this sweet boy!

Jakey is a curious little adventurer who loves to explore his surroundings with a playful and cheeky attitude. But when playtime is over, he’s all about snuggles. He adores curling up on your chest, purring himself to sleep while soaking up all the love and warmth he can get. His affectionate personality makes him the perfect companion for anyone looking for a devoted feline friend.

My Ideal Home: I would suit any home, gentle and quite introductions at first then I will adapt well.

What is Known About My Background: I came in as a single kitten to a central coast pound and was a favourite of the staff there.

How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: Other cats I am perfect with, I adore other cats and thrive in their company. Younger kids has not had interactions just yet. Would adapt to a friendly dog in a new home easy.

HAR uses the details in this form to select the most appropriate family for our animals. This form allows us to get to know you, your home, your family, lifestyle and level of experience with pets.
Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.
HAR Adoption Process
1. Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2. If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3. If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4. 4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.
Please understand that by filling in this form, it by no means guarantees that you will be successful in the adoption process, nor does it obligate you to adopt.
To complete this form an attachment must accompany this application regarding housing status. Either landlord approval to have an animal at the premises, or proof of home ownership.
