All About Me and My Unique Personality: Meet Harper! š¾
Harper is a lively and energetic 4-year-old Terrier X Staffy who is looking for her perfect forever home. As a rescue pup from a litter of six, Harper has been a beloved part of her current family since she was just 8 weeks old.
This spunky girl loves to let loose with zoomies, chase balls, and join you for long walks. Sheās also a world-class snuggler who adores her human companions, especially the kids in her current home (ages 6 and 9). Harperās excitement and zest for life are infectious!
While Harper has many lovable qualities, she does come with some quirks. She has a strong prey drive and is not suitable for homes with small animals or other pets. Sheās learning to play more gently with the help of medication, but she thrives best as the only dog in a household. Harper has shown food aggression in the past and needs an experienced, patient owner who understands her boundaries.
Toilet-trained and crate-trained at night, Harper is happiest when she has structure and love in her life. With the right home where she can be the center of attention, Harperās vibrant personality and boundless affection will make her an amazing companion.
Are you ready to welcome Harper into your home and heart? š
My Ideal Home: Harper would be suitable as the only pet in the house with older confident children, and with a patient and assertive owner.
What is Known About My Background: Harper was a rescue dog from a litter of 6. She has had the one home until now, but regrettably needs to be surrendered.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: Harper is good with children but can play a little rough. Older confident children would be more appropriate but would do well in a no child household.
Harper is no good with other dogs, cats, or any other small pet.
