About Gigi

All About Me and My Unique Personality: Gigi is a beautiful grey and white cat who is sure to win your heart. She is super affectionate and happy around new people and not phased in new surroundings. Gigi loves nothing more than to get attention and affection. She spends most of her days snoozing in a comfy spot. Gigi loves sleeping snuggled up close to you and is very respectful of your sleep time - she'll nap until you're ready to get up!

My Ideal Home: Gigi would be happy as an only cat, although may be fine with another cat friendly cat. She will need some scratcher around. As with all Hunter Animal Rescue cats, she needs to be rehomed as indoor only or in a secure cat enclosure.

What is Known About My Background: Gigi ended up at the pound with her 6 baby kittens. She was a superstar mum with her last ever litter, and now she is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and parasite treated, she is ready to find her forever home where she can be spoilt.

How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: Gigi is gentle and confident so fine around children. She may be okay with a cat friendly dog after an appropriate introduction. Gigi doesn't seek out the attention of other cats - she is much more interested in human affection - however she is able to co-exist with the cats in her foster home, so may be find with a cat friendly cat.

HAR uses the details in this form to select the most appropriate family for our animals. This form allows us to get to know you, your home, your family, lifestyle and level of experience with pets.
Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.
HAR Adoption Process
1. Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2. If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3. If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4. 4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.
Please understand that by filling in this form, it by no means guarantees that you will be successful in the adoption process, nor does it obligate you to adopt.
To complete this form an attachment must accompany this application regarding housing status. Either landlord approval to have an animal at the premises, or proof of home ownership.
