All About Me and My Unique Personality: Daisy : sweet and petite, chilled and independent.
Daisy is a tiny, smart, very pretty and quietly confident girl who learns the layout and rules of the house very quickly. She is an excellent A1 litter user and isn't fussy with her food.
Weighing in at only 3.5kg, she has an amazing coat and markings, cute black nose and has beautiful yellow eyes.
She loves to play, do some zoomies and then have a good snooze. She is quite affectionate and will weave in and out of your legs, trot after you, enjoy your pats and scritches, hang around while you do your work or watch TV and snooze on the end of your bed at night, however she doesn't particularly like being picked up although this may change with time and trust.
She has a very quiet 'meow' but is good at communicating.
She loves giving the scratch post a good workout and has no issues living with her current foster siblings (teenagers, small dog and older male cat).
My Ideal Home: Daisy is a sweet girl looking for a home where she is a loved and valued member of her family. Daisy will suit most homes but perhaps she would prefer older children who wont try to grab her or pick her up. She is not a shy girl and integrates into her environment pretty quickly. She is happy to meet anyone that comes to our home and explores everything around her. She's quite independent and will be chilled out if you are at work during the day, but like most cats she will thrive with enrichment and toys, cat towers and some of your time each day to make her happy & secure. If you have a cat enclosure or an area where she can see outside and feel the breeze through her fur ... this would be great. Please note all HAR cats are rehomed as indoor only pets.
What is Known About My Background: Daisy came from a rural property where multiple cats lived and were continuously breeding. She was surrendered with the others and all cats are now desexed. Daisy was among those selected to be rehomed. Daisy has been a busy girl, rearing her own kittens and then reared two more litters of kittens that didn't have their mum. She loved her 'mum' role and did an awesome job, but now it's time for her to receive all the attention and love she deserves. She has a clean bill of health and comes flea treated, wormed, vaccinated & desexed.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: As long as you are kind and gentle and happy to give her some of your time she'll happily engage. Like most cats, Daisy would be fine around gentle pet friendly older children who understand what she likes.
Currently lives with an older male cat and small dog - she will sometimes give a whack if they get too close to her face but mostly very calm and happy to coexist together. She would make a great companion for an older person - she is still young but not as needy or underfoot as a kitten can be!
