Hunter Animal Rescue on Facebook

Fostering is where instead of an animal being put-to-sleep when their allotted time is up at a pound, they get released to a home, until their forever home can be found.  Carers are all volunteers who provide food, shelter and most of all love while the search is on for it's forever home. Foster Carers are usually animal lovers who, for various reason, are unable to have another pet permanently. We are always in need of new foster carers, the more carers we have, the more animals that can be saved. If you are interested in becoming a carer please complete relevant online applications and we will contact you shortly

FEATURED FOSTERS

Amalie
I am a very special cat. I am so playful and energetic, I love playing with all of my toys. I have very unique ears, and piercing eyes. I am okay with the young children at my foster home, so long as they are gentle and treat me with care. My favourite spot to sleep is in a dolls cot! I am great company and enjoy evening snoozes on the couch. Even though I am small in size, I'm still suitable for a home with small children if supervised.  I am very affectionate like all cats and love to play chasing games.

Amalie is being cared for in Belmont.

For more info on Amalie contact Patricia on 0403327961 or send her an email

Heidi
Breed: DSH    Colour: Ginger and White   Age: 8 months

Heidi and Wylee are brother and sister and have been together all their life.  We have tried to separate them with not very good results - they must be rehomed together. (See Wylee here.)
They are very playful and loving, and love tochase each other around the house and play big time wrestling.  They also love to cuddle up to their staff (ie carers) at night before retiring to bed.
Ideally a quiet home with no children would suit them as they are a little timid at first and will take a few days to settle in.
